Pumpkin Carving Ad

The fall of my Senior year I acted as art director of COAST (communication arts students). My main responsibility was creating posters and announcements for upcoming events. My most inspired advertisement was for a pumpkin carving contest that was hosted in the center of campus one evening close to Halloween. The poster was designed to be intriguing from a distance while concealing the essential information on the inside forcing passers-by to stop, open the announcement, and spend more time at the announcement to increase their chances of remembering the event.

I used the same concept a few years later for a friends birthday card, featured here on my blog.
